After seeing Steve Stedmans corruption challenge, coming into work to find a CHECKDB agent job failure, I felt I was prepared for the work ahead. Looking at the error see below:

It was certainly not an error I had seen before. But thankfully in most cases its an easy fix. the failure is due to the snapshot filling up the drive and thus failing. You can read more about it below.

Kalen Delaney – DBCC’s Hidden Snapshot

The fix as you can read in Kalens post is either create your own snapshot on a different drive and run a CHECKDB against that. Run CHECKDB WITH TABLOCK (read more about CHECKDB WITH TABLOCK here), or just clean up / expand that drive so it can do the process normally.
