After my previous post on how i used PowerShell to delete emails from an Outlook folder (Take a look here) i thought it was worth sharing the easier way, if you have an option to, of using Outlooks AutoArchive setting 

Right click on the folder you wish to set up the policy on (Im using a folder called “SPAM Folder”:


Select “Properties” and “AutoArchive”


Here we can set the delete policy and how many days/months. For me that’s 30 Days and to “Permanently delete old items”


And there we have it. Click apply and your done.
